Embroidered Workwear

Embroidered workwear puts your logo on your team in a finish that looks sharp and lasts for years. The design is stitched into the fabric, not printed on top, so it survives daily wear, hot washes and life on site without fading or peeling. That’s why embroidery is the go-to for polos, jackets, fleeces and softshells. Xcel has been embroidering branded workwear for UK businesses for over 20 years, all in-house, with no minimum order, a free digital proof before we stitch a thing, and a typical 5 to 7 working day turnaround.

Why choose embroidery?

  • It lasts. Stitched thread outlives the garment and shrugs off industrial washing, so your branding still looks smart on the year-three polos.
  • It looks premium. That raised, textured finish reads as quality and permanence, which is exactly the impression you want a uniform to give.
  • It’s made for logos. Embroidery is crisp on left-chest badges, caps, beanies and back-of-collar detailing.
  • The colours stay true. Thread doesn’t crack or wash out, so a navy polo with a white logo looks the same after fifty washes.

What we embroider

Almost anything you’d put a team in. The garments we stitch most often:

All on trusted brands like Portwest, Uneek, Regatta and Beeswift. So you’re branding kit that’s built to work.

Embroidered workwear bundles

Kitting out a whole team? Our workwear bundles are the quickest way to do it. Pick a set of polos, hoodies or hi-vis, add your logo once, and we embroider the lot at a lower per-item price than buying singles. Same in-house embroidery. Just better value when you buy for the team.

Embroidery or printing, which should you choose?

Both are done in-house, and the right one comes down to the garment and the design:

  • Go for embroidery on logos for polos, jackets, fleeces and caps, and anywhere durability and a premium feel matter most.
  • Go for printing on large or highly detailed designs, photographic artwork, and lightweight garments like t-shirts and some hi-vis, where a flat print sits better and keeps the fabric breathable.

Not sure which way to go? Send us your artwork and we’ll tell you which method gives the best result, free of charge, before you commit.

What does embroidered workwear cost?

There’s no minimum order, so you can brand a single jacket or five hundred polos. The pricing’s simple. A one-off setup charge to digitise your logo into a stitch file, which is yours to reuse on every future order, then a small embroidery charge per garment on top of the item price. Order more and the per-item cost drops. And there’s nothing to pay until you’ve approved your free digital proof.

How it works

  4. We stitch and ship, usually within 5 to 7 working days.

Common questions

Is there a minimum order? No. Order one item or thousands. The price per garment just improves as quantities rise.

How long does it take? Most embroidered orders ship in 5 to 7 working days from proof approval. Got a deadline? Tell us and we’ll do our best to hit it.

What logo format do you need? A vector file (AI, EPS or PDF) is ideal, but a clear PNG or JPG is usually fine. We digitise it into a stitch file for you as part of the one-off setup.

Will it survive washing? Yes. Embroidery is stitched through the fabric, so it holds up to repeated industrial and domestic washing far better than print.

Can you match my brand colours? We match your logo to the closest embroidery thread colours and show you the result on your digital proof before we stitch.

Where can the logo go? Left chest is the classic, but we also stitch right chest, sleeves, backs, collars and caps.
